Additional Information
Playing a Hand of Blackjack
After bets are placed, click the DEAL button and cards are dealt to each of player’s hands and to the Dealer.
When the Dealer's face up card is a ten value card, the face down card is also checked for Blackjack, but no Insurance Bet will be offered earlier. This early checking for Dealer Blackjack is a Player advantage since it avoids risking additional double down and split bets that would be lost if a late Dealer Blackjack were revealed.
If the Dealer's hand is a Blackjack, the game ends and all main bets are forfeited. If the Player also has a Blackjack, it is a push and the bet for that hand will be returned.
If the Dealer does not have a Blackjack, then players have the opportunity to play out each of their dealt hands. If player has a Blackjack on the first two cards dealt and the Dealer does not have a Blackjack, then the player wins and will immediately be paid at 3 to 2.
If the Dealer does not have a Blackjack then player is given the chance to try and improve the outcome of his hand. Player may choose one of the following options depending on the cards you hold:
HIT: Player can ask for additional card. Player can request for Additional cards until he stand or his card total value reaches 21or bust. When player bust he has received a card that puts the total value of all his cards to go over 21. In that case, that hand loses and player’s main bet is forfeited.
STAND: Player decide to request no further cards and play that hand against the Dealer's hand.
SPLIT: If the first two cards in a hand are the same value then player may split them into two separate hands by clicking SPLIT. If Aces are split, one additional card may be dealt to each Ace. Only one split will be allowed per hand and there is not re-splitting.
DOUBLE DOWN: Player may click DOUBLE DOWN to double the main bet and receive only one additional card.
In this game, the total card value is shown on circular plaques contiguous to each hand. As cards are dealt, the plaque will show the updated total card value. When Player's hand is compared against the Dealer's, Aces are given the highest possible value not to exceed 21.
When all of player's hands have been played, then the Dealer's face down card is revealed. If any of player's hands are compared against the Dealer's hand, the Dealer's hand will be played out. Otherwise the Dealer's down card will be revealed and the game ends.
In multi-handed blackjack game, when the Dealer's total card value is 6 or lower, additional cards will be dealt until the total card value is 17 or higher. The Dealer will bust if the hand value exceeds 21, in which case any of player's standing hands win. Otherwise, the Dealer's total card value will be compared against each of player's hands. If there is a tie, this is a push and player's bet for that hand will be returned.
