The objective of Pontoon is identical to that of classic blackjack – beat the dealer without going over 21. The best combination, an ace and a 10-valued card, is called Pontoon, and beats all other possible combinations. The dealer’s cards are both dealt face down in this variation, and the game automatically checks them for Pontoon. Players can Hit, Split, and Double Down, as in a normal blackjack game. After reaching a total of 15 points, players can also Stand. Insurance is not available in this game.
